E.J. Gold's dramatic 7'x 11' JazzArt® stage panels and paintings grace the performance space, Saturday, June 17, at 8:00 p.m. as Wynton Marsalis takes the stage at the Grass Valley Veteran's Memorial Hall in a gala concert presented by the Center for the Arts.
Gold was the Official Artist for the International Association for Jazz Education (IAJE) from 2003 - 2008. In 2011 JazzArt® finished its 2nd season of 90.9 KXJZ Studio Jazz Concert series at the Mondavi Center, UC Davis where, in 2010, Wynton's brother, Delfeayo Marsalis performed with E.J. Gold's JazzArt® on stage.
JazzArt® artists E.J. Gold and Grace Kelly Rivera are delighted to contribute to this spectacular performance sponsored by the Center for the Arts.
HEI JazzArt® curator Beverly Korenwaser says with enthusiasm, "Have the sweet unique experience of the music -- Jazz, JazzArt, and the audience revving out . . . . The fusion is Magic!"
